Diarrhea Relief and Digestive Healing
Contents: Guava (Psidium guajava L), Yarrow (Achilea millefolium), Barberry (Berberis Vulgaris), Chinese bayberry (Myrica rubra Sieb. et Zucc), Calamus, Sweet Flag (Acorus calamus Linn).
Indications: In treatment of diarrhea and causes of uncontrolled bowel releases.
Actions: Helps soothe the intestinal smooth muscle, facilitating the easy re-absorption of water in the intestines. Strong antibacterial properties. Anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial. Provides relief against abdominal cramps. Improves water absorption, thickens the stool. Bacteriostatic and tissue healing.
Administration: Take 1 capsule each 30 minutes until results are obtained. Combine with large amounts of fresh water. Take no more than 8 per day, decreasing as warranted.
For more pronounced cases, and also for those in higher weight brackets, take 2 capsules, each 30 minutes. Maximum 10 each day, decreasing as warranted.
Alternatively, take 1 capsule when pain or discomfort warrants, between meals. Maximum 10 capsules per day.
Or per BSI Practitioner prescription. Or take one each twice per day when needed.
We strongly suggest the user avoid all caffeine and refined sugars. Do not take with conventional digestive aids. Stop when no longer needed. Do not take more than prescribed.
Reactions: Possible temporary cessation of bowel movements as the colon refills and heals after diarrhea has ceased. Minor Herxheimer detox reactions. May also produce loose stools with visible or microscopic parasites. Higher than normal thirst may be experienced.
Storage: Must be kept sealed in cool dry place, normal refrigeration is required.
Cautions: Do not take more than prescribed. If problem persists more than 2 days, seek medical help. Pregnant and breast-feeding women can only take by prescription and observation from the Practitioner.

Guava (Psidium guajava L). Treats gastroenteritis, diarrhoea and other digestive problems. Effective on infantile rotavirus enteritis, binding E. coli thus preventing its attachment to the intestinal wall, helps to prevent infection and diarrhoea bouts caused by the diarrhea-causing organism E. coli. Guava leaves helps to soothe the intestinal smooth muscle, facilitating the easy re-absorption of water in the intestines. Strong antibacterial properties.
Yarrow (Achilea millefolium). Flowers. Yarrow contains tannins thus effective for stopping diarrhoea and dysentery. Yarrow’s sterile and anti-inflammatory features make it effective for treating diarrhea.
Barberry (Berberis Vulgaris). Digestive calmative for treating diarrhoea and gastric ulcer. A rich source of berberine has antiprotozoal properties. Effective for treating and inhibiting protozoans that cause diarrhoea.
Chinese bayberry (Myrica rubra Sieb. et Zucc). An excellent source of cyanidin-3-glucoside (C3G). Contains antioxidants that can counter the effects of diarrhoea and other ailments.
Calamus, Sweet Flag (Acorus calamus Linn). Calamus is mostly used to aid easy digestion of food, reduce acidity in the stomach, ease heartburn and dyspepsia.The rhizomes of Acorus calamus Linn can be used for treating chronic diarrhoea.
