About the Ingredients in Compound SAA

Kudzu (Pueraria montana). Kudzu is called xing-jiu-ling, which translates as “sober up.” Two compounds in Kudzu alter the enzymes that break down alcohol in the liver, and as a result, an alcohol byproduct, acetaldehyde, builds up, producing nausea, facial redness and general discomfort in the subject. And the chemicals daidzin and daidzein in the roots suppress the appetite for alcohol.

Ginseng (Panax ginseng). Improves physical stamina, concentration, and memory. Stimulates immune function, slows aging, relieves respiratory and cardiovascular disorders, depression, anxiety, and menopausal hot flashes. Asian ginseng contains many substances; the most important are called ginsenosides (or panaxosides).
