About the Ingredients in Compound ANX

Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla L.). Soothes and calms the nervous system. Its anxiolytic effects are well known.

Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata). Primarily used to help people get uninterrupted sleep, this ancient sedative is known to counter the feelings of anxiety and can provide a sense of relief from overwhelming emotions.

Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia). Lavender is packed with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant compounds, which alone can help calm down a busy mind and release physical and mental tension.

Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera). In Ayurvedic medicine, ashwagandha is widely praised for many health conditions, but it is particularly well known as an adaptogen, meaning that instead of regulating certain hormones or metabolic functions in one way or another, it helps the body adapt to different stressful environments and improve our natural response to anxiety triggers.

Holy Basil (Tulsi). Increases levels of dopamine, is a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI), and inhibits acetylcholinesterase (AChE) which boosts acetylcholine. Holy Basil reduces spikes in cortisol induced by chronic stress. And is particularly effective in reducing stress caused by loud noise. It’s a natural COX-2 inhibitor. Compounds Holy Basil have been compared to the pain-relieving activity of ibuprofen, naproxen and aspirin.
