Contents: Alfalfa (Medicago sativa), Licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra), Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum).
Indications: The need to quell refined sugars addiction and their incessant cravings. Heal low and high blood sugar and the regulation of pancreas insulin function.
Actions: Controls appetite by regulating blood sugar levels. Tricks the body into thinking it’s had sugar. Minimizes insulin spikes after meals that lead to more hunger and consuming even more sugar. Contains glycyrrhizic acid, a compound which has been shown to lower leptin (hunger hormone) levels. Lower leptin levels mean lower appetite.
Administration: Take 1 capsule a 15 – 30 minutes before each meal, thereby stimulating the pancreas and digestive processes to produce digestive enzymes, insulin, and adequate bile. Maximum 6 capsules per day.
For more pronounced cases, and also for those in higher weight brackets, prescribe 2 – 3 capsules each time. Maximum 12 capsules per day.
Take for three weeks, then one week off. Or by Practitioner prescription, which may vary from these instructions. Do not take more than prescribed. Stop when no longer needed.
Alternatively, take 1 – 2 capsules a while before meals or snacks, when sugar cravings need to be suppressed. Stop consumption of sugared or sweet foods and simple carbohydrates, in favor of proteins when possible. Avoid all refined foods, drinks, and seed oils.
Reactions: At first, cravings for sugary foods may increase, but can be held in check with Compound APR-S. Chewing food well and slowly will help.
Storage: Must be kept sealed in cool dry place, normal refrigeration is required.
Cautions: The first day or two, weakness or sleepiness my be experienced, as the body become accustomed to not consuming the drug that is refined sugar. The body heals during deep sleep. Exercise is vital.
This therapy only works if solid appropriate changes are made in diet. Eat when hungry, however consume nutrients per The New Patient Guide. Avoid addictive, concentrated, impulse pleasure foods.
Words of Encouragement: These herbal appetite suppressants are very effective, but they won’t work unless you get adequate sleep. Managing stress is also important. As you may know, stress triggers emotional eating. Drink a lot of water, and remember to eat enough healthy fats and protein. High-protein diets help suppress appetite for sugar.
