Contents: Dong Gui (Angelica Sinensis), Chuan Xiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Yi Mu Cao / Chinese Motherwort (Herba Leonuri).
Indications: Take when pain from menstrual cramping is high. Reduces PMS and menstruation-related anemia, and helps to re-establish a menstrual cycle after cessation of birth control pills. Reduces pain and headache.
Actions: Antispasmodic, dilates blood vessels while relaxing the smooth muscles of the uterus, thus relieving menstrual cramping. Strengthens blood circulation and relieves pain. Helps both body aches and headaches. Relieves PMS symptoms and improves overall health, especially after giving birth.
Administration: Take 1 capsule each 30 – 60 minutes until relief is obtained. May also take before cramping and associated headaches begin in order to lessen effects if and when they manifest later. Maximum 2 capsules per day. Stop taking when no longer needed.
For more pronounced cases, and also for those in higher weight brackets, take 2 capsules each time, each 60 minutes. Maximum 4 capsules per day.
If re-establishing menstruation, take 1 or 2 capsules daily after breakfast, beginning immediately after ovulation, usually days 14-17. Stop at around day 25.
Reactions: On rare occasion, blood pressure may temporarily decrease in those who have too high blood pressure. May slightly delay onset of menstruation if taken in large quantity, at the beginning of the menstruation cycle (before bleeding starts).
Storage: Must be kept sealed in cool dry place, normal refrigeration is required.
Cautions: Not for pregnant women. Breast feeding women by limited prescription only. Not for male or transsexual consumption.

Vitamin C IV infusions. Day or two before menstruation, and again after if desired.
Dong Gui (Angelica Sinensis). Known as the “female ginseng,” commonly used to regulate the menstrual cycle and relieve menstrual cramps.
