About the Ingredients in Compound PCS

Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera). Ashwagandha is an adaptogenic herb that benefits PCOS patients by lowering cortisol levels, reducing anxiety, improving sleep, and is also anti-inflammatory. It mimics a calming neurotransmitter in the brain called GABA. Ashwagandha supports optimal thyroid function and is effective in treating hypothyroidism.

Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum). Contains cinnamaldehyde, which increases progesterone and lowers androgens like testosterone and DHEA. Helps manage PCOS symptoms such as blood sugar, menstrual cycle, cardiovascular health and inflammation. Cinnamic acid has antioxidant, antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties, and enhances the antioxidant capacity in PCOS patients.

Tribulus / Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris (bindii)). Boosts female libido, and improves blood glucose levels. A completely natural non-hormonal herbal (phytochemical) bio-stimulator, which contains predominantly saponins of furostanol type, with prevailing quantity of protodioscin. A natural herbal alternative to synthetic anabolic hormones without toxic effects.

Maca (Lepidium meyenii). Maca contains 50+ phytochemicals that balance hormonal levels by acting on the hypothalamus-pituitary axis. A potent addition for women with PCOS to help lower estrogen, lessen the appearance of facial hair, control periods, and boost fertility. Maca encourages the pituitary, hypothalamus, and endocrine glands’ overall health and function to work at their peak levels.

Cramp bark (Viburnum opulus). Cramp bark is used for cramps, cancer, scurvy, inflammation of the uterus, and other conditions. It relaxes cramps and spasms especially during pregnancy. Cramp Bark is considered uterine decongestant. It is a good remedy to prevent Abortion.
