Premenstrual Syndrome Help

Contents: Dong Quai (Angelica Sinensis), Cramp bark (Viburnum opulus), Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba), Valerian (Valeriana officinalis).

Indications: Symptoms of headache, insomnia, cramps, fatigue, irritability and mood swings associated with menstruation.

Actions: Reduces fluid retention and breast tenderness, improves mood and treats insomnia. Inhibits enzymes known as monoamine oxidase thereby improving mood and cognitive performance.

Administration: Take 1 capsule, 1-3 times each day between meals. Maximum 3 capsules each day.

For more pronounced cases, and also for those in higher weight brackets, prescribe 2 capsules 3 X per day. Maximum 6 capsules each day.

Alternatively, take 1 capsule each hour, between meals, until results are achieved. Maximum 4-6 capsules per day.

Can be taken with other associated medicines listed below, if needed. Stop when results are achieved. Do not take more than prescribed.

Reactions: May cause minor sleepiness. However cognition remains normal. May increase urination and the need to drink more water.

Storage: Must be kept sealed in cool dry place, normal refrigeration is required.

Cautions: Not for pregnant or breast-feeding women, unless otherwise by prescription. Compound PMS should not be combined with anticoagulants (such as warfarin) and pharmaceutical antidepressants. Compound PMS can slightly thin blood when used in high doses. Such a combination can increase the risk of severe bleeding. Overuse can also result in skin photosensitivity. Do not take more than prescribed. Caution when operating machinery.

About the Ingredients in Compound PMS

Dong Quai (Angelica Sinensis). Provides relief for headache, insomnia, cramps, fatigue, irritability and mood swings.

Cramp bark (Viburnum opulus). Cramp bark is used for cramps, pain and inflammation of the uterus. It relaxes cramps and spasms, considered a uterine decongestant.

Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba). Reduces fluid retention and breast tenderness, improves mood and treats insomnia. Inhibits enzymes known as monoamine oxidase thereby improving mood and cognitive performance, helping balance the flurry of emotions associated with PMS.

Valerian (Valeriana officinalis). Sedative and anxiolytic, reduces migraine pain and muscle spasms associated with PMS, produces a calming effect on women with PMS as well as reduce migraine headaches and the muscle spasms that cause cramps.
