Contents: Milk thistle (Silybum marianum), Barberry (Berberis vulgaris), Bai Hua She She Cao / Snake-Needle Grass (Herba hedyotis).
Indications: Skin conditions such as minor eruptions, acne, psoriasis, and similar.
Actions: Protects and purges the liver, a clogged liver often results in skin disease. Treats bactericidal and fungicidal infections associated with skin ailments. Helpful with amoebic dysentery, malaria, cholera, giardia, salmonella, E. coli and similar gastrointestinal infections that often result in skin disease.
Administration: If skin problems are minor take 1 capsule 15 -30 minutes before breakfast. If problems are more pronounced, take 1 capsule 15- 30 minutes before each meal. Maximum 3 capsules each day.
For more pronounced cases, and also for those in higher weight brackets, prescribe 2 capsules each time per day. Maximum 3-6 caps each day.
Take for three weeks, then one week off. Do not take more than prescribed.
Alternatively, take 1 capsule when needed between meals, no more than 3 capsules per day. Stop when no longer needed.
Reactions: May cause various Herxheimer detox reactions. Skin eruptions may increase for a short time, as the body cleanses from pathogens located in the fat layers under the skin. Occasional fever or headache – drink more water in this case.
Storage: Must be kept sealed in cool dry place, normal refrigeration is required.
Cautions: Not for pregnant or breast feeding women. Overuse can cause decreased libido and lower sperm count. Do not take more than prescribed. Do not take with Compound PST.

Bai Hua She She Cao / Snake-Needle Grass (Herba hedyotis). Reduces inflammatory compounds associated with psoriasis and other inflammatory diseases, such as tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-a) and interleuken-6 (IL6). The overuse of bai hua she she cao can cause decreased libido and lower sperm count.
