Contents: Gromwell (Lithospermum latifolium), Motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca), Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis), Valerian Root (Valeriana officinalis, Caprifoliaceae)
Indications: For those diagnosed with hyperthyroidsim. Symptoms may include: Nervousness, anxiety, or crankiness, mood swings, fatigue or weakness, sensitivity to heat, a swollen thyroid (called a goiter).
Actions: Partially blocks TSH activity at the receptor level, and the release of TSH from the thyroid, while suppressing the iodide pump. Inhibits peripheral T4 conversion to T3. Non-addictive, healing.
Administration: Take 1 capsule upon arising, and 1 capsule again 30 minutes before dinner. Maximum 2 capsules each day, deceasing as warranted. Dosage increase or decrease can be determined with thyroid pituitary testing and related hormones testing. Bear in mind that thyroid and pituitary levels naturally change throughout the day.
For more pronounced cases, and also for those in higher weight brackets, take 2 capsules each time Maximum 4 capsules each day, decreasing as warranted.
Suggested time frame: Take for three weeks, then one week off. Prescribed dosage and time frame may change dependant upon Practitioner prescription. Women may want to time by not taking during menstruation.
Alternatively, when thyroid hormone activity is detected as on average high, as determined by testing, take 1 capsule each 4 hours until levels begin to decrease. Stop when results are achieved. Take no more than 4 capsules each day, unless otherwise prescribed.
Not to be taken with or in substitution of conventional thyroid medications.
Reactions: May cause a minor restful state and occasionally increase appetite.

Vitamin C IV infusions, Once per week for the first month, then twice per month or as requested.
Gromwell (Lithospermum latifolium). Blocks TSH activity at the receptor level, and blocks the release of TSH from the thyroid, while suppressing the iodide pump. Inhibits peripheral T4 conversion to T3. TSH receptors are balanced by Gromwell.
Motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca). Effective in Graves’ disease, normalizes rapid heart rate. Controls symptoms of restlessness. A potent adjuvant in treating overactive thyroid, due to its action against symptoms associated with palpitations and anxiety. Inhibits thyroid-stimulating hormone and the reduction of excess production of related hormones.
Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis). Stabilizes mood and mental activity. Inhibits thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) from attaching to related receptors.
Valerian Root (Valeriana officinalis, Caprifoliaceae). The mild calming effect of Valerian root is caused by a hike in Gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA). The restlessness and lack of proper sleep experienced by patients with hyperthyroidism, particularly Graves’ disease, can be helped with regular consumption.
