Contents: Maca (Lepidium meyenii), Bacopa (Bacopa monnieri), Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra), Gentian (Gentiana lutea).
Indications: For those diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Symptoms may include: Fatigue, weight gain, sore muscles and joints, mood and memory changes, feeling cold, constipation, high cholesterol, slow heart rate, hair loss, dry skin and weak hair and nails, goiter, menstrual changes.
Actions: Stimulates the thyroid to fight the effects of hypothyroidism, with no detrimental side effects. Non-addictive, healing.
Administration: Take 1 capsule upon arising, and 1 capsule again 30 minutes before dinner. Maximum 2 capsules each day, deceasing as warranted. Dosage can be determined with thyroid pituitary testing. Bear in mind that these hormone levels naturally change throughout the day.
For more pronounced cases, and also for those in higher weight brackets, take 2 capsules each time Maximum 4 capsules each day, decreasing as warranted.
Suggested time frame: Take for three weeks on, then one week off. Prescribed dosage and time frame may change dependant upon Practitioner prescription. Women may want to time by not taking during menstruation.
Alternatively, when hypothyroidism is detected, as determined by testing, take 1 capsule each 4 hours until levels begin to increase. Stop when results are achieved. Take no more than 4 capsules each day.
Not to be taken with or in substitution of conventional thyroid medications.
Reactions: May cause increased tactile sensitivity, higher energy levels.
Storage: Must be kept sealed in cool dry place, normal refrigeration is required.
Cautions: Do not take more than prescribed. Can cause hyperthyroid symptoms in cases of over-dosing. Not recommended for use by pregnant women unless otherwise prescribed
Compound THR-L should not be taken with conventional thyroid therapies. Close monitoring of thyroid and pituitary hormones is advised, in order to gauge dosage and healing.
